Baby Ava

Baby Ava was born into the Brown family as the second daughter of Mindy and Zach and she is so adorable and her older sister Amelia is going to be such a great big sister to her.

They had a family session in the studio to wrap up my 2018 sessions.  Ava was awake for most of them and then right near the end she finally fell asleep for us.

Colbert Family

On a rainy day when you want to do Christmas photos where better to go than to the Botanical Gardens when they have all their Christmas settings up. 

The Colbert family met me there and we got to walk around taking in all the holiday scenes while taking pictures of their happy family. They even got to change into their gear to represent their favorite sports team! 

We even almost got to take our picture with Santa while he was there but he needed to take a break right when we were near him. Here are some of my favorites from this holiday session.

Jansen Family

The best perks of being a photographer are getting to meet new and amazing families but this one I will never forget based on their story! 

Their daughter Meghan is a beautiful young lady with such a joyful and caring heart. She is a brain cancer survivor! She told me about how they found out she had it, her journey to recover, and the amazing things she is doing in her life along with her plans for the future! 

I can't remember a shoot that I talked more with the family than took pictures. Their family opened up their hearts to me and I couldn't wait to share my favorites from their session!

   

Wallis Family

A very special birthday gift to their mom this holiday season where all 5 kids, their spouses, and their kids got together to celebrate the parents that started this whole family. We got to take some with the grandparents and all of the grandkids.
