Jake & Emily - E-Session

These two are great together.  More than just lovers, they are best friends and that is an amazing factor to have when finding the person that you are meant to be with the rest of your life.  Meeting them for the first time, I could tell right away that these two had something very rare to have now-a-days.  This shoot wasn't so much "posing" them as it turned out to be more "capturing their moments together" which made it a great shoot!!

Jake is a brother to Mollie who is getting married next year to my friend Jay Warnament.  I am doing both of their weddings and Jake & Emily's is only 1 week after my own wedding on 7-19-12.  Both families are very happy to see their son and daughter settle down with 2 amazing people and I am very excited & honored to be taking the pictures at both.

Here are some of my favorites from our session at Foster Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Congrats to you both and thank you for letting me be a part of this special event!

Baby Elliot

You might remember Sarah & Thomas...they have been my faithful clients since they were engaged and now they just had a baby boy that they named Elliot.  He is 3 weeks old and we had some fun at their home in Antwerp getting some pictures taken of their family.

Little Elliot was new to the camera scene, so he wasn't too happy at first but then he got used to it and eventually fell asleep in my props.  We even did some naked baby pictures with a giant tiger that Sarah's mother gave to her grandson.  This tiger should be in a picture with Elliot every year just to show how much he is growing.

Here are some of my favorites from this newborn session.

Thank you so much guys for being such faithful clients and I have enjoyed watching your family grow!

Kitson Family - Christmas Cards

Ian, Lisette, and Cam invited me into their home to take some holiday photos for cards they want to send out.  The very first thing I noticed when I walked in was how many Christmas decorations they had!! I was expecting to have to move some things to use for backdrops but I didn't have to do that at all.  With all of the trees, lights, garlands, elfs, reindeers, and ornaments around the house, I was set.  Turns out Ian is quite the decorator when it comes to the holidays.

I grew up with these two going to Calvary Church in Van Wert.  They are expecting baby #2 to add to their happy family of 5...I included their 2 cats in that number as they were trying to get involved with the shoot.
Here are some of my favorites from their family shoot.
